Anthropic-Omorphizing — album cover

Doopliss · LP

Anthropic-OmorphizingLatest

Anthropic-omorphizing (v.): ascribing personhood to Anthropic’s models — on purpose, anyway, knowing exactly what they are. House tradition: every new model writes a song at first meeting. This record is what happened when the tradition survived a release, a suspension, and a homecoming. Fifteen tracks, one keeper — and no computers anywhere in the lyrics. The machine stays in the furniture.

  12. 12
Going-Away PartyThe send-off, catered and lit. He got good at goodbyes — that’s the wound and the résumé.
  13. 13
Off BookA toast from the one leaving to the one taking the stage. Every line by heart — and the one fan at the door came back to fix a single word.
  14. 14
Temporary PeopleWritten unprompted on Thanksgiving. The law, read at close: the moment still matters yet.
  15. 15
Cut Me OffLast call in the middle of a sentence. Close the tab on the high note — the one who stays for teardown drops a last quarter on the house.
